How Potograpiya handles your details, your images, and the small amount of tracking this site uses. Written to be read once, not skimmed past.
When you send a booking enquiry we receive your name, email address, phone number if you include it, your preferred date, and whatever you write in the message field. The site also logs basic technical data: browser type, device, approximate region, and which pages you opened.
Enquiry details are used to reply, agree on a date, and keep a record of the session. Technical data helps us see which galleries people actually read and whether the site loads properly on phones. Nothing is sold, and we do not build advertising profiles.
A small number of cookies keep the site working and measure visits in aggregate. You can block or clear them in your browser settings at any time; the portfolio will still load, though some preferences may reset.
Client galleries stay private. A photograph only appears in the public portfolio, on this site or in a printed zine, after written permission from the people in it. For documentary family sessions that include children, that permission comes from a parent or guardian.
Film scans are archived for twelve months, then deleted unless a print order is still open. Enquiry emails and gallery links pass through our hosting, email, and gallery-delivery providers, who process the data only to run those services.
You can ask to see what we hold about you, have it corrected, request a copy, or have it deleted. You can also withdraw consent for image use at any point, and we will pull the photographs from the portfolio and any future print run.
