A signed agreement sets the date, the location, and the type of session. Until that is in place, the date stays open and can be taken by someone else. The deposit is what holds it.
These terms describe the practical side of a booking, not the creative direction. They cover what each side commits to, what happens when a date shifts, and how finished images reach you.

The deposit secures the booking. The remaining balance is settled before or on the day of the session. Prints, zines, and framed work are ordered separately and follow the print partner's own production schedule.
If you cancel inside the agreed window, the deposit carries over to a new date once. If Potograpiya cannot shoot because of illness or unsafe conditions, the deposit is either returned or moved to another date, your choice.
Turnaround is stated per session type and edited images arrive through a private gallery. Raw files and unedited frames are not released, and the final selection stays with the photographer.
Sessions in Gauteng, KwaZulu-Natal, or anywhere beyond the province are quoted before anything is confirmed, so travel costs never appear as a surprise later.
Potograpiya is responsible for the agreed coverage and the safe handling of your files. Beyond that, responsibility does not extend to events outside the photographer's control, such as venue restrictions, weather, or equipment failure, though every reasonable step is taken to protect the work.
